Ahhhhhhhhh....here comes by favorite season, FALL! Looking forward to playing without sweating! Ha!
We have been having so much fun playing all over the place! As we approach the winter months it seems like a good time to remind you all that we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play parties! If you, or your company, are looking to hire a band for a holiday party, wedding reception, backyard bbq, or whatever we hope that you will keep us in mind!

Steve & I went to Alfred's on Beale lastnight where I had the pleasure of singing a few standards with the awesome Memphis Jazz Orchestra! It's been years since I've sung with a big band! It was such fun! The band was awesome and the other singers were all so talented, welcoming and friendly. The MJO plays at Alfred's most Sunday nights! Go! You'll LOVE it!
An Invitation! - June 9, 2008
We have been playing lately at some venues that we had not played before. It's really been FUN to experience new places and to meet new people!
We recently played at The Local for the first time ever and were blown away by how friendly and appreciative the crowd was and the stage is really nice too. Always a plus for us! Anyway, Paulette and the regulars there made us feel so welcome! These are the kind of folks who would welcome you too! We'd love it if you'd come try a new place with us! Have you been to JR's yet? We'll be there this Friday night and YOU are invited!

We get by with a little help from our friends!!! - April 14, 2008
We would like to THANK Danny Harris for his support, friendship, gift of gab, skills at publicity and dedication to keeping us working. You da man! We REALLY appreciate you!!!
HUGE THANKS also to Ronnie Stoots & Fred Toma... check out the photo section of our website later this week to see why!
It seems the stars have been in alignment for us, and perhaps it is not a coincidence that our change of luck coincides with the return of our Spiritual Advisor, Philip's Cousin Bobby! For all of that positive energy, dedication to keeping everyone hydrated (water all around!) and for your efforts on our behalf we THANK you.
Finally, to the many friends who come out to support us on a regular basis ~ we would be NOTHING without you! Thanks especially to our friends Mike & Kandi who have probably been out to see us play at more venues than any other friends.... you get the TROPHY for best supporting audience members! You are THE BEST and WE are grateful!
Dan McGuinness Gig / Philip's Birthday - March 22, 2008
We totally had a blast playing last night at Dan Mc Guinness Pub on Philip's BIRTHDAY! Dan McGuinness has moved the music from the front room to a NEW cool area with a lot more space, bigger stage, pool tables and more. After the big MEMPHIS WIN last night that joint was JUMPING and full of cool, happy people who were dancing up a storm and having some BIG FUN! Come check this place out! It is soooooo much better now with the new expansion and it has become one of our favorite places to play!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHILIPLICITY!!!
He's baaaaaaaack! - February 2, 2008
Ladies and Gents,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the return of our former bassist, Philip McKelvy. Philip aka Philiplicity aka The Wild Man of the Band aka The Prodigal son has come back to FAULTLINE where he BELONGS! THIS MEANS that there will be MORE NEW REPERTOIRE and the return of some awesome vocal harmonies! Welcome back, Philip, we have missed you! Come welcome him back at our gig on March 1st.
RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH US!!!! - November 22, 2007
We are so pleased to announce that we will be playing at Willie Moffatt's this New Year's Eve! Rally the troupes and come party with us as we boogie our way into 2008! Willie Moffatt's is one of our very favorite places to play and we are really hoping for a HUGE crowd! Thanks to our good friend Danny Harris our schedule is really filling up for the Winter months. We have lots of gigs coming up at venues that we have never played before and that makes us happy! It's always FUN to play a new venue! We hope to see y'all in the crowd!
Happy Holiday Season!!!!!!! - November 14, 2007
We would like to remind you that we LOVE to play parties! Does your company need a band for an upcoming Holiday Party or are you throwing a big bash and want it to really ROCK? Give us a JINGLE! In addition to our mix of Rock, Blues & R&B songs (including recent additions to the repertoire, as promised, including songs by The Staple Singers, The Beatles, Chicago and Lynard Skynard to name a few), we play a handful of your favorite rockin' & bluesy Christmas tunes!
Our Project: Building a better Repertoire... - July 7, 2007
Some bands are happy to throw together 40 tunes or so and call it their repertoire...they play those same songs that they have been playing, as Elvin Bishop says, "since the Dead Sea was just sick" EVERYTIME they play. They don't work in new tunes, they don't rehearse to tighten up the ones that they have thrown together...in a nutshell, they don't care about your ears! We think that's lazy and boring not just for the band but for the listeners as well.
We really try to keep our show fresh for YOU the listener & for ourselves as well by switching up the set list, bringing in new songs, or "retiring" tunes for a while and then bringing them back later when we start missing them. Yes, it's true...we actually rehearse! We are not big on taking requests not because we can't play the songs but because we'd rather give you something that isn't just thrown together...we want you to hear us at our best every time we play.
As musicians we enjoy playing a great variety of Rock, Blues & R&B and always try to mix it up as much as possible...but we have found that we are sometimes considered too bluesy for rock venues and too rocky for blues venues. Ya know that old saying "Ya can't please everyone.. yada yada." Well we have decided to dedicate as many hours as it takes this month recording 2 new demos (1 rock and 1 all blues) that WILL hopefully please everyone and will help us to pick up a few more gigs.
We want to show that we CAN play nothing but blues for the blues clubs and nothing but rock for the rock venues that aren't interested in the Faultline variety of Rock, Blues & R&B that we love. So July will be dedicated to recording and then we are dedicating August to improving our set lists by spending as much time as we can rehearsing in new tunes and getting together the very best ROCK and BLUES tunes that we can. We want to be a band that can play ANYWHERE and play whatever STYLE that we are asked to play ALL NIGHT LONG. If you are not yet on our email list and would like to be so that you will be notified of upcoming gigs please shoot us an email through the link above and while you are doing it feel free to list a few songs that you think we should consider adding to our show...that way when you yell it out we are gonna be way more likely to pull it out of the hat for ya!
We want your ears to be HAPPY! We value YOU and thank you for your continued support!
~PJ & The Boys!

THOUGHT DU JOUR:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"
Juke N' Jamm Radio Interview - March 18, 2007
We would like to thank the awesome guys at the Juke N' Jamm radio show for having us on last weekend. We had a great time and especially enjoyed getting to perform a few songs live in the studio. Message du Jour - February 11, 2007
Thanks to all who came out to the show lastnight at The Billiard Club/Hog Head Saloon in Bartlett. We had an AWESOME time and enjoyed getting to crank it up and ROCK OUT with you! It's not often we get to play a club with a stripper pole right on the stage! We will be back next month and hope this will be the start of a long and happy relationship with this really great little venue!
Today's Message of the Day is: Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.
Happy Birthday Mom & Randy! We love you!
Happy New Year!!! - January 14, 2007
Well, 2007 is upon us and we are hoping it will be a GREAT year for us to keep performing and hopefully to start gigging more in the Memphis area! So far we are off to busy start and we are happy about that. We are so honored to have been asked to play for the Rock 103 "Celebrity Waiter Night" at Boscos Squared in Midtown Memphis on 1/16 to benefit The Ronald McDonald House. We also performed a few acoustic numbers on Rock 103 last week and are told they will be releasing a CD soon called "The Great Unsigned Unplugged" - The proceeds of which will also be donated to charity. We want to THANK all of you who made it out to support us in 06 & we hope to be seeing your smiling faces throughout 07. We hope that you are all going into the year very happy, health and ready to rock with us!
All the best,
Patty, Steve, Philiplicity, Benjammin and John!!!
